The trough pan for a mining unit, especially an underground chain scraper conveyor, has fastening means (50) for the upper run in the form of clamping pieces (51) which can be positioned between one of the side profiles (7) of the exchangeable trough (4) and the adjacently lying side element (8), and which have a wedge face (55) which interacts with a bevelled mating wedge face on the exchangeable trough for displacement of the trough in the direction of the opposite side element (20). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) upper run fastening means for a trough pan; and (2) an exchangeable trough with side profiles and conveyor bottom for a trough pan.
