The system (1) has a bus bar device (11), and a set of connection cables (7a-7f) for electrical connection of a lighting fixture with another lighting fixture and/or for electrical connection of the lighting fixtures with the bus bar device. The lighting fixtures are provided with connections (3) for detachable electrical connection with ends of the connection cables, where the connection cables are adjustable in different lengths and are connected with cable reels. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a kit comprising a set of lighting fixtures (2) a cable reel comprising a cable connection.
