The door lock controller has a retractable end of run dead stop (50) designed to cooperate with an exterior door opening mechanism (22) controlled by an exterior door lock and by two electrical actuators (52) driven by an electronic unit (34). The stop is also controlled by an interior pull grip (28) connected to the stop by a clutch coupling (74) controlled by electric actuators (76) driven by the unit (24). Control system for automobile door lock, is of the type including: (a) a lock module (12) fitted with exterior (14) and interior (16) door opening controls; (b) an exterior door opening controller (22), displaceable between a rest and opening position, and; (c) an electronic drive unit (34) connected to a user identifier unit (37) which authorizes door opening when the user is identified. The exterior controller (22) is displaceable from its rest position towards its opening position following action including successively a first movement (C1) during which the exterior opening controls (14,22) are de-coupled and the identification unit is activated and a second movement (C2) during which the two controls are coupled. The control assembly includes in addition electric actuators (48) for an interior door opening controller (16) driven by the unit (34) so that the controller is activated when door opening authorization is received.
