The simulator has a six components force moment sensor (6) on a child model (2) and/or womb torso and/or coupling device to detect forces and/or movements effected by a person on the torso and/or model. A simulation program triggers a control device, by which the force controls a drive to move the model such that the model effect reaction movements that corresponds to natural movement behavior of a child in a womb or during birth. An independent claim is also included for a child model for a birth simulator.
