Cosmetic or dermatological preparation in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion with low-melting phytosterol mixtures, characterized in that the preparation is at least a) 0.5 to 5 wt .-%, based on the total weight of the preparation, of one or more substances selected from the group of phytosterols; b) an oil component containing a mixture selected from at least one vegetable oil and / or vegetable fat, at least one fatty alcohol and at least one fatty acid ester and c) optionally further customary in cosmetics or dermatology approved conventional additives.
