PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which link module data for waveform generation one of which follows the other. ;SOLUTION: When module data for waveform generation one of which follows the other are linked, a compromise rate is designated, and preceding module data and succeeding module data are corrected in accordance with this compromise rate, and then they make a compromise with each other to construct a smooth link (connection) between them. The link start point of preceding module data and/or the link end point of succeeding module data is designated to perform link (connection) processing in a proper degree in accordance with the degree of estrangement or proximity between both module data. If preceding or succeeding module data include plural vectors, a temporal relation between both module data is discriminated, and the vectors are thinned out so as to smoothly connect them if necessary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
