The invention relates to a method for securing application software from a processing unit and application storage unit (11u) comprising at least one application secret (Su). The inventive method comprises the following: application software and modified data (D') are made available to a user; a user possessing an application unit (11u) is enabled to return to original data (D) using the modified data (D') in an implementation phase of said application software with modified data.
