PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vanish application method, a vanish application apparatus and a printer capable of applying vanish only on the specified part on a print in spite of a simple constitution.;SOLUTION: The vanish application apparatus is provided with a guide board 53, a droplet spray nozzle head 50 and an ultraviolet ray irradiation device 51. The guide board 53 has a number of fine suction pores connected with a vacuum pump on the surface thereof. The droplet spray nozzle head 50 is arranged opposite to the guide board 53 and has a number of droplet spray nozzles 54. The droplet spray nozzles 54 spray ultraviolet curing varnish to print papers S transported toward a paper ejection part 28. The ultraviolet ray irradiation device 51 is adjacent to the droplet spray nozzle head 50 in the direction of the paper ejection part 28, is disposed oppositely to the guide board 53 and irradiates the print papers S on which the ultraviolet curing varnish is applied with ultraviolet rays.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
