The container (C1) has a rigid framework with a lower frame assembled to a support base (1). An upper roof frame of the framework is mounted on the lower frame by an assembling unit. The assembling unit permits movement of the upper frame between a lowered position and a raised position in which the frame is partially separated away from the base to facilitate loading and unloading of the container through an open side of the container.
