PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the quality of a read image by surely suppressing vibration/shake caused in a light receiving section with a simple structure. ;SOLUTION: A flange at ends of pins 11 placed to a lower face of the stay member 9 supports a mass plate member 12 to suppress vibration caused in a stay member 9 supporting the light receiving section (an image forming lens 7, an image sensor 8 or the like) in an unconstraint state (no load is exerted to the member 12 except a load on the stay member in a perpendicular direction). Since the mass member 12 acts like a damper against a shake motion of the stay member 9 caused by a shock, fluctuations in a relative position between the light receiving section and an original scanning light are eliminated to reduce the disturbance in a read output.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
