The present invention provides a data discard signaling procedure in a wireless communication system . Discarding data if the transmitter , the transmitter needs to notify the discard of the data to the receiver. Results of the RLC SDU discard in the transmitter , the receiver is moved its reception window and optionally to a request to display the discarded RLC SDU, the shortened move receiving window super-field is used. Move receiving window super-field check is performed to confirm the reception of the MRW SUFI. If various criteria are met , SDU discard with explicit signaling procedure is terminated effectively , increase the transmission throughput . The data discard signaling procedure of the present invention increase the transmission throughput and the transmission performance is improved .
