PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the reduction of occurrence of noise in accordance with the AC power supply from an inverter which changes DC output to AC output to an AC motor, the reduction of wiring loss, and the downsizing of a cooling system for both the inverter and the AC motor.;SOLUTION: Power drivers 300 for an inverter, which supplies the AC motor with AC output, are arranged equally around the stator of the AC motor so as to drive the stator coil 204 corresponding to each phase of AC of the AC motor, whereby the distance from the power driver 300 for outputting each phase of AC to the stator coil 204 is shortened thereby achieving the reduction of noise occurrence accompanying the AC output supply to the AC motor and the reduction of wiring loss. Moreover, the stator coil 204 and the power driver 300 can share a cooling passage 102 by providing a cooling path 102 between the stator coil 204 and the power driver 300, whereby they can be cooled efficiently.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
