A soil consolidation procedure comprises feeding the soil with one or more solutions containing calcifying bacteria selected from the families of Bacillaceae, Pseudomonadaceae, Enterobacteriaceae and Myxococcal bacteria, circulating the solutions and delivering one or more nutrient solutions to feed the bacteria.
