DEVICE FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF BAGGAGE IN AIRPORTS.

A simple improvement for better access to a baggage belt, e.g. at an airport, has a clearly marked line (5) applied to the floor at a set spacing from the baggage belt. The marked line is designed to hold passengers back from the belt and can only be crossed by passengers who identify their baggage items. The markings can be via coloured adhesive tape applied to the ground, or markings applied to a recessed groove. The markings are abrasion proof and are applied about two metres from the belt.
