The barrier has panel units (12) whose ends are engaged in grooves in vertical posts associated to a strut (J). Each groove receives a lateral edge of two sets of the units forming two pilings on both sides of the post. Pressure applying units (A1-A3) exerting pressure on each piling of the units (12) have their one ends integrated to the post and other ends supported on an upper edge of an upper panel unit of two adjacent pilings.
