The device has multiple laser beam generators to emit a central light beam (5) oriented towards a center of a screen (2) of an audiovisual installation, front side light beams (6a, 6b), rear side light beams (7a, 7b) and a rear light beam (8). The beams (6a, 6b) are projected symmetrically on both sides of the beam (5). The beams (7a, 7b) are projected symmetrically on both sides of the direction determined by the beam (5). The beams are emitted in preset directions to simultaneously locate several zones of the space for positioning each of multiple components of the installation.
