Preparing particles, particularly solid lipid nanoparticles from a lipid liquid phase A comprising a lipid or lipids mixture and a second liquid phase B in which the phase A is insoluble or partially soluble comprises: (a) implementing a membrane reactor comprising a porous membrane in which the phase B is circulated tangentially with the membrane and the phase A; (b) maintaining a temperature higher than the melting point of the phase A before passing through the membrane, forming droplets by passing through the pores that contacts the phase B; and (c) solidifying optionally after cooling.
