The gearbox has a motor input shaft (4) positioned orthogonal to an axis of a shaft that drives wheels (2A, 2B) of a rotary machine (1). A movable part comprising ramps is movable axially on the wheel drive shaft. The ramps cooperate with a part rotatively integrated with the shaft for permitting the rotative integration of the ramps and the rotative part, during a clutching phase, and for transmitting the rotational movement of the movable part to the shaft. The ramps and the rotative part are disintegrated in a declutching phase. An independent claim is also included for a moving vehicle comprising a gearbox.
