The device has a trough (6) comprising a bottom (8) and lateral peripheral walls (9), where the trough is open in its upper part. The trough contains a level of a liquid e.g. water, where the liquid level is controlled. The trough comprises a block of an absorbing material such as foam, with large exchange surface, impregnated with water, so as to allow exchanges between the liquid of the trough and the inner atmosphere. The trough has a volume equal to that of two wine bottles. The trough has two overflow openings (12), situated at two different levels in contact zones.
