The system has an exchanger (100) and a refrigerated unit (8) cooling a two-phase secondary refrigerant (3) that comprises fluid and particles (5). The particles have a volumic mass lesser than that of the fluid and are separated from the fluid by a simple gravity and slowly rise inside a tank (2) that is disposed in front of the exchanger. Re-injecting units (15) re-inject a part (10) of the cooled fluid into the tank. The fluid has a stabilized ice slurry comprising a phase changing material. An independent claim is also included for an air conditioning method.
