The installation has a weighing surface (3) disposed in downstream of a supply zone (4), where the weighing surface, supply zone and a sorting surface are positioned at same level. The weighing surface is a stationary surface on which the objects are driven in displacement by a drive unit (5) during weighing of the objects. A weighing unit is mounted with respect to the weighing surface, where the unit is positioned in line with a movable transmission unit (6). An independent claim is also included for an installation for the sorting of objects comprising a weighing installation.
