The method involves determining a service identifier (IDS) associated to a call number (NA) in a look-up table (TCT) comprising call numbers associated to respective service identifiers, after validating the call number. A communication with a server (SW) providing a multimedia service and connected to a communication network, is established based on the determined service identifier. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mobile terminal for accessing a multimedia service (2) a service authorizing an access to a multimedia service (3) a computer program implemented in a mobile terminal for accessing a multimedia service (4) a method for implementing a computer program in a mobile terminal for accessing a multimedia service.
