The box has seven forward gear pinions (52 - 55, 62 - 64) engaged with one of the fixed pinions (21 - 23, 31, 32). The pinion (64) is mounted on a secondary shaft (60). The pinions (52 - 55, 62 - 64) and their selective coupling units (101 - 103) are centered on six transversal planes of action (P1 - P6). The pinions (21 - 23, 31, 32) are centered on the planes (P1 - P5) and the coupling units (101, 103) are centered on the plane (P6). Each of the units (101, 103) is coupled with idle pinions with the corresponding secondary shafts (50, 60).
