The floor (30) has a heating wire (28), and a faceplate arrangement including an upper face that presents main splines, half-turned splines and separate splines receiving a cement cord (35) and housed in a recess of the upper face. A length of the heating wire is buried in the cement cord that is integrated to walls of the splines. The splines define a distribution of the heating wire in the area of the floor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a kit for forming a hot floor (2) a method for forming a hot floor.
