The device has a reinforcement part (1) fixed on a ski pole or hiking pole rod (2). A viscoelastic material (3) is inserted between the part and the rod through collars (4). The part has an attachment fixed to the rod and has an end in free contact with the rod. The part (1) has a flexible pre-stressed cable which crosses a part in the viscoelastic material fixed on the rod, where the part is situated in the handle of the pole.
