The device has two panels (2, 3) whose longitudinal sides are articulated along a longitudinal axle (13). Two elements (25, 26) comprise lateral flanges (27, 31) contacting the lateral sides of the panels. The flange (31) carries a lug (53) comprising a longitudinal projecting wing (54), where the lug is laterally extended along the flange (27) and determines an outer surface (55) co-axial or concentric to the axle. The flange (27) comprises ribs (56, 57) guiding the lug in rotation along the axle. An independent claim is also included for a panel assembly comprising two panels.
