The method involves obtaining the identity of a caller, and selecting a business card of a called party from the stored business cards based on the obtained identity. The selected card or information permitting to access the selected card is sent to the caller. The identity of the caller is compared with each of contact identities of a list during selection. The list includes the identities of known users of the called party. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for personalizing a called party`s business card (2) a system for communication between terminals used by a caller and by a called party, and adapted to implement a called party`s business card personalizing method (3) a computer program stored on a data medium comprising instructions permitting to implement a called party`s business card personalizing method.
