The hammer has a handle (2) on which a parallelepiped head (3) is engaged. The head presents a distal face (4), a proximal face, lateral faces and ends, where one end forming a tapered mortise chisel has a V shaped slit. One of the faces presents scraping lips (10a, 10b). The scraping lips are perpendicular to lateral faces. Each of the lips is adjacent to the distal face of the head and extends to form projecting parts of each of the lateral faces. One lip presents a profile constant over its length, while the other lip presents a serrated profile by a series of rounded teeth over its length.
