The cover has trestles presented in the form of arched transversal sections (1) provided with grooves on their both sides. A pair of lower-lateral flaps (3, 3`) is placed in the grooves and coupled to plates fixed corresponding to a zenith zone of the cover. The flaps slide on guides defined by the grooves such that the flaps set, at their turn, a lateral closure integral to a swimming pool. The top flaps move upwards to define a ventilation window, at the level of ground, while maintaining the closure at the lower level.
