The seat has a horizontal base slidingly mounted on a guide rail (4) in a longitudinal direction (L) between forward and backward stop positions. A spring leaf (22) connected to a fixed profile (6) of the rail and a boss (27) connected to the base, retain the base when the base is in forward stop position, as the base is not subjected to a backward force greater than a preset value ranging between 3 Newton and 60 Newton.
