The guide for directing pallets from a motorized roller conveyor to another at right angles comprises a V-shaped guide plate (5) which is mounted along the corner where the conveyors meet. Rollers on the side of the pallet move along the inner edge of the guide so that its direction of motion is turned through a right angle. An independent claim is included for: (A) a version fitted with a spring which guides pallets from a side conveyor to a main one; and (B) a version with a pneumatic cylinder which allows selected pallets to be moved to a side conveyor.
