The device has prostheses (14) to be connected at an ear (16), and microphones (20) for capturing sound waves. The microphones are connected at the prostheses to capture the sound waves produced by an individual carrying the prostheses. The microphones are encapsulated in a silicone cover placed inside a case (22) connected on the outer surface of the prostheses. A waveguide conduit (26) is placed in the prostheses for guiding the sound waves from the auditory canal (18) of the ear towards the microphones. The prostheses have another conduit to connect the canal with the exterior.
