The device has a clevis (13) integrated to an end (9) of a braking control rod (8) and carrying an axle (14) extending along a perpendicular direction of the rod. A fastener (20) has a cut formed in a brake pedal arm (2) and has a circular portion and a notch (27) receiving the axle. A blocking unit (30) pivots around an axis coinciding with the center of the circular portion. The blocking unit has a notch (41) receiving the axle. A spiral spring (45) returns the blocking unit in an angular position, such that the notch (41) is situated at an opening of cuts towards a section of the arm.
