The shelving has a column of horizontal frames hooked at adjustable heights on vertical uprights (4). Each frame has side rails (5) and cross pieces (6) respectively defining length and depth of the shelving, and including locking flaps (8) on the uprights. Non tubular C-shaped sectional elements constitute the uprights and have core (12) and flanges (15) with longitudinal perforations cooperating with the flaps. The flaps have a distal end with returns (19) cooperating with the elements to stop by projection at the level of longitudinal grooves of the elements. An independent claim is also included for a method of fabricating a shelving.
