The device (1) has a drop formation unit comprising a membrane equipped with a slit. The slit is deformable between a closed position, in which a distribution orifice (6) is closed and an open position, in which the orifice is opened. The membrane has a cutting lip at the level of the slit. The unit has a nozzle needle in contact with a free edge of the lip. The lip cuts the drop, in cooperation with the needle, when the membrane is in closed position.
