The system has a receptacle (4) on which a user positions a teapot (8). A thermoelectric module (3) with Peltier effect is carried and maintained at temperature higher or lower than ambient temperature. The module actively transfers calories between the receptacle and a heat dissipater (2) whose efficiency is improved by a fan (6). A heat conducting foam (5) provides thermal contact between the teapot and the receptacle, where the system is controlled by an electronic component case (7). An independent claim is also included for a method applicable for decoction of iced tea.
