The method involves molding a hollow concrete element (1) using a mold by pouring self-consolidating concrete in the mold. The mold has a female part (2) formed partially in concrete and/or resin and intended to cooperate with a retractile core (3). The formed concrete element is dried while the concrete element is maintained in the mold. The molding of the concrete element is implemented using a concrete base (4) cooperating with the female part. An independent claim is also included for an installation for the fabrication of a hollow concrete element.
