The vehicle has a floating structure (200) constituted of a nacelle (210) fixed on two floaters for forming a structure of type catamaran. The structure is realized from elements fabricated by a rotational molding method, where the elements are assembled by welding. A propulsion system (300) is mounted on the structure and includes a thermal engine (310) and a driving train (302). The driving train includes a drive and directional wheel (350) associated to a propeller (370), where the engine drives the wheel and the propeller in rotation. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an amphibious vehicle.
