The modular reduction gear system for industrial trucks comprises two motors (16a, 16b) of different lengths and power. Each of these is fitted with an electromagnetic brake unit (18a, 18b) of different sizes and braking power. The motors are mounted in separate housings in a frame (10) and the brake units in separate mountings on covers (14a, 14b).
