The shop has a removable case (8) for controlling and supplying a device (4) for access to a motor vehicle for a mobility impaired person e.g. wheelchair user. The case has a connector (44) permitting electrical connection of an electric motor (14) and adjustable obstacle detection sensors (28, 30) of the access device. Control buttons (50) control the displacement of an access ramp (12) of the device, towards an active position and/or a retracted position. A display panel (52) displays simultaneously the state of the protection signals generated by the sensors. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a removable case for control and supply of an access device (2) a method for adjusting a sensor of a device for access to a vehicle for a person with reduced mobility, using a repair shop.
