The method involves forming a panel casing composed of a frame and two covering sheets positioned on both sides of the frame. A burglar proof grille (31) is arranged inside the casing, where the grille is constituted of welded steel wires (32, 33). The grille is positioned inside the casing such that it extends parallel to the sheets at a specified distance from each of the sheets. The casing is filled of a foaming mixture which is adapted to form, by polymerization, a rigid foam, and the foam is adapted to trap the grille and is connected to the frame and the sheets by adhesion. An independent claim is also included for a burglar proof panel such as opening frame of a door, closing an external opening of a building.
