The valve has a valve body in which a cylindrical conduit is housed and encloses a metallic base joint (18) forming a base for a disk shaped throttle valve (5). The joint is intercalated between a wall (1a) of the valve body and a base locking ring (20) which is maintained by a retainer ring (19) housed in an inner radial groove (3) of the conduit. A flat base joint (17) formed of a graphite is housed and compressed at 5 to 20 percent volume compression rate in an annular groove (1b) housed along a longitudinal axis of the conduit in the wall, relative to the metallic base joint.
