The printed article consists of a cardboard core (3) providing a required degree of rigidity, to which outer surface layers (4) of paper are attached by an adhesive (5) containing magnetic particles such as powdered iron, preferably forming 50 per cent of the adhesive by weight. The paper surfaces cover the edges of the core, and the adhesive used for making the article should be one with physical and mechanical properties that are compatible with automatic machinery.
