The engine shaft sleeve, comprising an external tube (70) with at least one air intake (92) at its forward end and at least one rear outlet for an air flow, has at least one internal tube (80) with front and rear ends, forming an annular passage with the external tube. It has air inlets (98) at the forward end of the internal tube and outlets (100) at its rear end to channel a second compressed air flow that is separate from other air flows. The external tube has ribs (66) with machined grooves for joints (68) forming a seal with the high-pressure compressor discs, the grooves being located at the front and rear ends of the internal tube to create a sealed air flow between the internal and external tubes.
