Holder has an outer sleeve (4), which has a first engaging device (42), which cooperates with a second engaging device (22) arranged at a rod (2), in order to lock the rod. Holder has an inner sleeve (6) arranged partly in a gap between the outer contour (25) of the rod and an inner wall of the outer sleeve, which rotates around the rod. The inner sleeve partly surrounds the rod and consists of plastic. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an actuating rod for transmission; (2) the transmission for motor vehicle; and (3) a procedure for manufacturing of the holder.
