Use of a cosmetic composition in a dispersion form for hairstyling comprising flexible spherical structured particles containing a protein or sugar derivative and a synthetic polymer different from a protein or sugar derivative, in a medium. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of treating hair comprising applying the composition to the hair, optionally leaving the treated hair for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, and setting the hair; and (2) a composition comprising the particles, where the viscosity of the composition is =200 cps, preferably 200 cps to 104 poises measured at 25[deg]C under atmospheric pressure with a shear rate of 1 s-1.
