The frame has an element (1) formed from a thick cardboard sheet (10) in which a cut (11) is formed to create a window (12) giving a passe-partout shape to the element. Another element (2) is formed from another thick cardboard sheet (20) which has a cut (21) formed along three sides of a quadrilateral (22) having a size larger than that of the window and smaller than or equal to a photograph (P). The cut (21) delimits an inner flap (24) which is raised to permit the insertion of the photograph having a size larger than that of the window and smaller than or equal to that of the quadrilateral. An independent claim is also included for a method of fabricating a frame device for a photograph.
