The assembly has a mirror (1) and a connection element (2) connecting the mirror to a side of a sun visor (B), where the element (2) has a knuckle joint type end. Another end of the element (2) is mounted pivoting around an axis (X`) comprised in a plane of the side such that the assembly passes from its folded position to a deployed position. The assembly is retracted against the side and a reflecting surface of the mirror exposes the side, in the folded position. The mirror forms an angle with respect to the side, in the deployed position. An independent claim is also included for a reflecting assembly placed at proximity of an edge of a side of a sun visor.
