The sensor (1), designed to be mounted on a wheel rim by a housing (2), has fixings containing at least one locking element (3) able to rotate about its axis and held in a cage attached to the housing. The locking element has one end that can be rotated, and a second end that is shaped to receive the end of a screwing tool. It also has a zone that acts as a shaft rotating in an aperture in the cage that has a surface of revolution acting as a bearing. The cage consists of at least two parts: a recessed part (421) fixed to the housing, and a cover (422) that fits over it.
