The present invention discloses a network equipment data management method. Said method includes saving identifier for different type data in equipment side; network management system saving differenttype data numerical order to network management system data base in synchronizing equipment data; in TRAP processing and timing data synchronization, network management system comparing local numerical order with equipment side numerical order, according to comparative result to make relevant updating processing. The present invention provided method solves TRAP loss status in TRAP processing process, long data synchronization time problem.
